Australia Awards Welcome and Farewell Celebrations

This year 1330 Australia Awards scholars commenced study in first semester at 41 tertiary institutions across Australia.

Recently the Australia Awards celebrated the Perth Welcome and Farewell Celebrations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Julie Bishop. This event extended a warm welcome to the new Australia Awards scholars in Perth and commemorated the achievement of the completing award recipients from Western Australian institutions. The event also provided an opportunity for the Australia Awards scholars to share their experiences of Australia and network with other Australia Awards recipients from Western Australia.
