Applications for the 2027 intake of the following scholarship schemes will open 1 February 2026 0900 AEDT and close 30 April 2026 1400 AEST:

  • Australia Awards Scholarships – AAS 2027 (only open of citizens from Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Botswana, Cambodia, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Ghana, Guinea, the Gambia, Indonesia, Kiribati, Kenya, Laos, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives,Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Niue, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Wallis and Futuna, Zambia, and Zimbabwe)
  • Australia Awards Scholarships Brunei – AASBRN 2027 (only open to citizens of Brunei)
  • Australia Awards Scholarships Singapore – AASSGP 2027 (only open to citizens of Singapore)
  • Australia Awards Scholarships French Territories– NODAFT 2027 (only open to citizens of French Polynesia and New Caledonia)
  • Australian Awards Pacific Scholarships – AAPS 2027 (only open to citizens of the Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu)
  • Australia Awards Mekong Australia Partnership – AASMAP 2027 (only open to citizens of Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar)
  • Australia Maritime Security Scholarships – AMSS 2027 (only open to current government employees of Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines working in maritime security)
  • ACIAR John Allwright Fellowships – ACIAR 2027 (eligibility requirements avaliable at: www.aciar.gov.au/scholarships/john-allwright-fellowship)

Please note that applications for Australia Awards Scholarships will open to citizens from Palau from 30 March to 30 June 2026.
